Wheeze Detection
Helping to extend care beyond the clinic.
Access Telehealth offers custom remote patient monitoring programs to meet your organizational and patient population needs. We can integrate wheeze detection into your RPM program with wheezo®.

wheezo® is intended to detect and record abnormal breath sounds (continuous adventitious breath sounds/CABS) at the windpipe (trachea), reported as WheezeRate in adults & children ≥2 years. It is not for diagnostic use. A licensed health care professional’s advice is required to understand the meaning and importance of the wheezo readings.
Ongoing, longitudinal visibility of patients’ wheeze
wheezo® provides the ability to continuously assess and measure wheeze outside the clinic setting.
- Wheeze is detected and the system provides a WheezeRate for each breath recording
- Providers can view WheezeRate history longitudinally for each patient
Innovative technology makes it easy to detect wheeze – patients just breathe normally

If the user is feeling breathless, or experiencing other symptoms, it is important to prioritize treatment over taking a wheeze rate. Do not delay treatment.
